Terraceo Madrileño
Plan to
Madrid, Spain 2014
Mahou is a company with a deeply rooted
history
in the Spanish culture, dedicated to the service of hospitality and creating a product that began to expand thanks to the different taverns, bars, restaurants and terraces of Madrid. They produce a refreshing beer ideal for the hot summers of Madrid and its terraces. Thanks to this, he has had great success with his consumers.
Mahou is conceived in this project as an intervention dedicated to hotel services and individual consumers, thanks to those, this company started and continues its expansion. To this end, a series of spaces are proposed that provide service and infrastructure to its consumers, referencing traditional activities and terraces in the Madrid afternoon. We propose a series of spaces endowed with inventions that make them capable of hosting temporary activities. In them, nourished by the
micro-brewery, every month different traditional bars of Madrid will provide services. It will be a place where leisure is mixed with history, where the consumer gets an intellectual value that will be remembered based on an experience. Then, Mahou will be a place both for the cult of beer and learning, in all its places, a dynamic museum in the tradition of Madrid. In addition, these spaces seek the social interrelation that happens in all places where beer is consumed. For this reason and for the great relationship Mahou has with its consumers, "Terraceo Madrileño" is proposed.
Terraceo Madrileño will become a fundamental pillar of the day to day life of the Latina district, adapting to its public and proposing activities that take root in its dynamic culture. A micro-urbanism is developed on an architectural scale, an interactive proposal that dialogues with its surroundings both in its social scale and in its cultural scale, both inside and outside. In this proposal, despite its dynamic nature, an example of how its spaces could be distributed initially is proposed
